About Me

My name is Emily McLain, and I am a Web and Software Development student at Western Technical College in La Crosse, Wisconsin. I hope to continually develop my knowledge of technology and computer languages in order to become an adept programmer someday. I am 23 years old and I have lived in La Crosse my entire life. The most important things to me are my two dogs: a Pomeranian named Piper and a Shih-Tzu/Poodle mix named Chaz.

I have always loved dogs and they have been a primary interest of mine throughout my life. I am also interested in nature and the outdoors in general, especially forests and mountains. I like other animals in addition to dogs, particularly sheep and farm animals, and things like isopods and stuff that lives in tidepools. I love iced coffee and my favorite food is probably sushi. I really enjoy car rides, cycling, hiking, and walking my dogs. I've always had a fondness for video games, especially open-world and fantasy rpg games, and enjoy playing rhthym games on my phone. I like drawing, but I'm not good at it, and I like crafts such as knitting. I am also really interested in languages and want to get better at learning them.
